Trade Show Executive Honors Freeman with 2010 Innovation Award

Dallas, TX – Freeman, the world’s leading provider of integrated services for face-to-face marketing events, was honored with a 2010 Trade Show Executive Innovation Award for developing Concierge Elite® by Freeman, a service that gives show managers the real-time status of exhibitors’ freight and service orders in the palm of their hand.

Each year, the Innovation Awards recognize companies and organizations that have created products, procedures and other new ideas that have yielded new value for show managers, exhibitors, attendees and the exhibition industry as a whole. A panel of independent judges chooses the awards based on creativity, originality and the ability to improve the efficiency and productivity of trade shows.

Freeman has expanded the concept of using mobile phones to keep track of individual exhibitor orders. Concierge Elite allows exhibitors to check on their freight and containers and place orders from anywhere. The program also feeds information to show management, giving them a bird’s eye view of how the move-in is progressing and where potential glitches and bottlenecks may develop.

Show Managers can use their devices to monitor the number and types of requests made by exhibitors, as well as the progress of booth installation. It even reveals how many trucks have been unloaded and the average time it is taking to handle an individual truck

Concierge Elite displays on a PC screen, and includes a smart phone app that opens the door to a wealth of pie charts and real-time statistics on the overall pace of the move-in process.

Freeman designed Concierge Elite to give managers the freedom to leave the show office when they need to and still have instant access to the show’s overall progress. The ability to see the big picture can mean faster deployment of resources to untangle problems before they translate to frantic customers, union overtime and loose ends that are still being tied up after the show opens.
