Freeman Honored with InfoComm/LSA Staged Events Award

Las Vegas – Freeman, the world’s leading provider of integrated services for face-to-face marketing events, was honored in Las Vegas with two InfoComm/LSA Staged Events Awards 2010. The first, a Miller-Coors project, won for Best Overall Staging for a Corporate or Association Event – Technology Budget over $200,000

“It is a great honor for Freeman to receive this prestigious award for the second consecutive year”, said Bill Kitto, National Sales Manager at Freeman Audio Visual Solutions regarding the Miller-Coors project. “Our success on this difficult project can be attributed to the professionalism and innovative practices of our technical team. To coordinate a creative team from South Africa with the technical team in Texas and ultimately produce the show in Las Vegas requires experience and expertise”

Freeman also won Best Overall Staging for a Corporate Industrial Entertainment Event for an American Library Association (ALA) project. “It is difficult for a lighting submission to grab attention when it’s up against so many great total staging projects with video. But lighting is one area that can own a show if it is done properly, and this event exemplifies the power of light over the audience,” remarked one judge.

Freeman has established itself as the world leader in this area, winning nine InfoComm/LSA Staged Events Awards in the past four years. The Staged Events Awards, hosted by Lighting&Sound America took place in June of 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The InfoComm/LSA Staged Events Award judges were David Barbour, editor-in-chief of Lighting & Sound America magazine; Tom Stimson, MBA, CTS, president of The Stimson Group; Janne Mummert, director of business development, VER/Video Equipment Rentals; Jack Kelly, owner and designer of Eye Dialogue; and Bob Leon, president of Colortone Staging & Rentals.

“We look forward to building long term strategic partnerships with Premiere Beauty and ADA, both industry leading organizations,” said Joe Popolo, CEO of Freeman. “As we continue to drive innovation in the face-to-face marketing industry as a whole, our goal is to deliver quality solutions and strategic, creative thinking for our customers.”
