Freeman Donates $10,000 to Children’s Hospital New Orleans
– Freeman, the world’s leading provider of integrated services for face-to-face marketing events, has made a lasting impact on the New Orleans community after hosting a booth at the Healthcare Convention and Exhibitors Association (HCEA) event. Freeman donated $10,000 to the Children’s Hospital New Orleans as a result of its booth attendees’ votes. The check presentation ceremony was held on Thursday, July 22.
Prior to the HCEA event, Freeman selected five nonprofit organizations in New Orleans as potential recipients of the $10,000 check. The exhibit house emailed convention attendees inviting them to visit the Freeman booth and vote for their favorite charity to win the donation. In order to commemorate the event, attendees had the opportunity to make charm bracelets with specialized charms representing each of the charities. Freeman experienced a tremendous response from HCEA attendees making it one of the busiest booths at the event.
The Children’s Hospital New Orleans received the most votes and was awarded the donation. Bonnie Helmker, general manager of Freeman New Orleans, presented the check to Children’s Hospital development director Roger Korman on Thursday, July 22 at 10 a.m. in the hospital lobby
“It has been such an honor for Freeman to collaborate with so many well-deserving nonprofit organizations,” said Helmker. “We congratulate the Children’s Hospital and know they will continue to do great things for this community in the future. Thank you so much to the attendees who helped make this event such a success.”
