AVT Names Eddy Eisenberg New President.
Eisenberg’s vision and leadership have helped establish AVT as one of the premiere hospitality technology enterprises providing premium quality in-house services and technology solutions for hotel partners. His strategic guidance continues to be a driving force in the company’s success since its acquisition in 2009 by Freeman.
Now a division of Freeman Audio Visual, AVT works together with Encore Productions, an award-winning, full-service production company, to provide leading in-house event technology for more than 85 hotel and resort brands throughout the United States. As President of AVT, Eisenberg will be responsible for bringing more of Freeman’s diverse offerings in the hospitality technology industry under one solution-oriented umbrella. Eisenberg will oversee efforts to further showcase how the brands within Freeman’s Audio Visual division, including AVT and Encore, bring hotel partners unmatched value by offering exclusive access to next generation technologies and a superior approach to customer service.
“Eddy Eisenberg is one of the most knowledgeable executives in the audiovisual industry,” said Ken Sanders, President, Freeman AV. “The trail of accomplishments and success that follow his career are not only a testament to his sharp understanding of the industry, but also his inherent business expertise. He has a proven track record in the acquisition and disposition of audiovisual companies and he has been instrumental in the structuring of numerous national contracts. We are excited to move into this next phase of AVT’s operations with Eddy at the helm.”
Eisenberg has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and audiovisual technology industries, most recently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at AVT. Prior to AVT, Eisenberg served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Presentation Services, then part of Caribiner International, an audiovisual and business center management company that serviced more than 600 hotels throughout the United States, Mexico and South America. During his time with Presentation Services, Eisenberg played an integral role in establishing it as the largest hotel audiovisual company in the United States through both internal growth and strategic acquisitions.
